Toushiro Report post Posted July 22, 2010 (edited) อันดับ 10 - Lone Cypress ต้น Lone Cypress ขึ้นต้องแรงปะทะโดยลมหนาวจากมหาสมุทรแปซิฟิกอยู่ที่ชายหาด Pebble ในมอนทาเร่ รัฐแคลิฟอร์เนีย ประเทศสหรัฐอเมริกา แม้จะมีขนาดไม่ใหญ่โตมาก แต่มันตั้งเด่นเป็นสง่า (แบบว้าเหว่) อยู่ท่ามกลางทัศนียภาพที่สวยงามของมหาสมุทรแปซิฟิก อันดับ 9 - Circus Axel Erlandson เกษตรกรปลูกถั่วคนหนึ่งได้ดัดแปลง และแกะสลักต้นไม้เป็นรูปร่างและลวดลายที่แสนมหัศจรรย์จริงๆ เขาได้ตั้งชื่อมันว่าต้น "Circus" นี่คือตัวอย่างเจ้าต้น Circus ที่คิดว่ากว่าจะทำได้คง อันดับ 8 - Giant Sequoias ต้น Giant Sequoias ถือได้ว่าเป็นหนึ่งในต้นไม้ที่ใหญ่ที่สุดในโลก ปลูกใน เซียร์ร่า เนวาดา รัฐแคลิฟอร์เนีย ซึ่งต้น Giant Sequoias ที่ใหญ่ที่สุดคือพันธุ์ Genaeral Sherman ตั้งตระหง่านใหญ่ยักษ์อยู่ใน Sequoia National Park มีลำต้นสูงถึง 275 ฟุต ( 83.8 เมตร) และหนัก 6,000 ตัน ( - -*) อันดับ 7 - Coast Redwood ต้น Coast Redwood ถือเป็นต้นไม้ที่สูงที่สุดในโลก โดยเจ้าต้นที่ชื่อว่า Hyperion ใน Redwood National Park นั้นมีความสูงกว่า 379 ฟุต (115 เมตร) จุดเด่นของมันก็คือ ต้น Coast Redwood จะประกอบไปด้วยต้นแคลิฟอร์เนีย เรดวู้ดยักษ์ถึง 4 ต้น ซึ่งมันใหญ่ขนาดที่ว่าเราสามารถขับรถผ่านได้! อันดับ 6 - Chapel - Oak of Allouville - Bellefosse ต้น Chapel - Oak of Allouvill - Bellefosse เป็นต้นไม้ที่มีชื่อเสียงที่สุดในฝรั่งเศส มันไม่ใช่เพียงแค่ ต้นไม้ธรรมดา แต่เป็นสถานที่สำคัญทางศาสนาอีกด้วย ในปัจจุบันบางส่วนของโอ๊คต้นนี้ได้ร่วงเลยไปบ้างแล้วตามกาลเวลา แต่ผู้คนที่นั่นใช้เสาและสายเคเบิ้ลในการรองรับต้นไม้เก่าแก่ต้นนี้ อันดับ 5 - Pando ต้น Pando หรือ Trembling Giant ในรัฐยูท่าห์ ประกอบไปด้วยกว่า 47,000 กิ่งก้านสาขาที่แผ่ขยายไปทั่วพื้นที่ 107 เอเคอร์ หนักประมาณ 6,600 ตัน และมีระบบรากแก้วใต้ดินที่ใหญ่โตมาก เฉลี่ยแล้วแต่ละกิ่งก้านนั้นมีอายุประมาณ 130 ปี รวมทั้งระบบ ของต้น Pando เหล่านี้ศิริอายุร่วม 80,000 อันดับ 4 - Tule ต้น Tule เป็นต้นที่ใหญ่ที่สุดในต้นไม้ตระกูล Montezuma Cypress ตั้งอยู่ใกล้กับเมือง Oaxaca ประเทศเม็กซิโก มีขนาดลำต้นโดยรอบ 190 ฟุต ( 58 เมตร) ซึ่งมีความหนาจนผู้คนพูดว่าแทนที่คุณจะโอบกอดมัน…มันกลับโอบกอดคุณแทน ( เย้ย !!! ) อันดับ 3 - Banyan ต้น Banyan ตั้งชื่อตาม "banians" หรือผู้บุกรุก ชาวฮินดูที่ทำกิจกรรมต่างๆ ภายใต้ต้นไม้นี้ และต้น Banyan เคยเป็นบ้านต้นไม้ของโรบินสัน ครูโซมาแล้วด้วย อันดับ 2 - Bristlecone Pine ต้นสน Bristlecone ถือได้ว่าเป็นต้นไม้ที่เก่าแก่มาก ซึ่งพันธุ์ Methuselah นั้นจัดเป็นต้นไม้ที่เก่าแก่ที่สุดในโลก ที่มีอายุ 4,838 ปี อยู่เหนือระดับน้ำทะเลถึง 11,000 ฟุต อันดับ 1 - Baobab ต้นไม้ที่มหัศจรรย์ที่สุดก็คือต้น Baobab หรือ ต้นขนมปังลิง!
